• 2 balls Tahki Yarns COYOTE, 51% wool, 46% acrylic, 3% nylon (1.75oz/50g; 27yds/25m) in color #04 slate

• One pair size 13 (9mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

• Yarn needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS Cap Circumference 20"/51em

GAUGE 7 sts and 12 rows
= 4"/1Ocm in Garter stitch

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS K2tog: Knit 2 together- Knit 2 sts together through the front loops.

Garter Stitch Knit every row.

CAPCast on 36 sts.

Work in Garter st until piece measures 6½" from beg, end with a WS row. Shape Crown

Knit 1 row. Dec Row 2

[K2, k2tog] 7 times, k1 – 22 sts rem.

Knit 1 row.
Dec Row 3  [K1, k2tog] 7 times, k1 – 15 sts rem.

Knit 1 row. Dec Row 4
 [K2tog] 7 times, k1 – 8 sts rem.

Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through remaining sts and pull to close. Knot to secure. FINISHING
Sew back seam. Weave in ends. Pull tufts of Coyote yarn to RS for a fuller fur look.
