Finishing
Cut 16" lengths of yarn. To attach fringe in each st along both short edges of shawl, fold yarn strand in half to create a loop, use crochet hook to pull loop through st, pull yarn ends through loop and tighten.

Use yarn needle to weave in loose ends.

GAUGE:

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. NOTES:
Here are some tips for working with this little beauty: Though most yarn of this type is put up in pull balls or skeins, take time to roll it into balls. Place the wound ball inside a small ziplock bag and "zip" all but an inch of the top so the yarn can feed through freely. This keeps the yarn
clean and tangle-free and works especially well if you're working with multiple strands of yarn
(either double strands of silk/mohair or silk/mohair plus another yarn). To deal with a mistake that is difficult to rip back,or if your work has fallen off your needles, place the entire piece
along with the working yarn in a large ziplock bag, then place it in the freezer for10 minutes or so until the fibers firm up but not so long that ice crystals form. The cold fiber will be easier to detangle or replace on the needles. Use a lifeline if you are concerned about the stitches slipping off the needles. Periodically (say, at the end of each pattern repeat) draw a tapestry needle threaded with a strand of thin smooth yarn or dental floss through the stitches on the needle. On the next row,take care not catch the lifeline into the knitting. If you do make a mistake,simply ravel to the lifeline. If you use a set of interchangeable needles, thread dental floss into the hole at the base of the needle and knit a row as usual-the lifeline will be added as you knit.Shrug

Using the Invisible method and substituting a second clr needle for the waste yarn CO 82 sts.

With RS of fabric facing you,bring the needle up through the fabric from WS to RS 7 sts to the left of the marked position. Skim the needle through the st that is 7 sts to the left of the marked position,then through the stat the marker, then through the st that is 7 sts to the right of the marked position-3 sts caught on the tucking strand. Hold cir needles parallel with WS touching and RS facing out,being careful not to twist piece. Use the Kitchener st forSt st to graft the live sts at the ends tog.

Back Seam
Lay piece flat with selvedges running horizontally across the top and bottom and the Kitchener join
positioned vertically in the center of the side facing you. Measure out 41h" (11.5 em) on each side of the join along the top edges and pin both layers tog at these points. With yarn threaded on a tapestry needle,use the mattress st to sew the two layers tog between the marked points.There will be about 8112" (21.5 em) left unsewn at each side of the top edge; these unsewn sections form the armholes.
Weave in loose ends.

With A and larger needles, using a long-tail cast on, cast on 3 sts directly onto the clasp as follows: use the beading needle to thread the yarn through the hole of the clasp from back to front and cast on 1 st, tightening the yarn around the ring. Before casting on the next st, pull the short tail through the ring again from back to front and rep for the rem 2 sts.
Row 1 Knit.Row 2 K1, k1-f/b, k1 – 4 sts.Row 3 K1, k1-f/b, k2 – 5 sts.Work even in Garter st, slipping the first st of each row, until Necklace measures 16¼" or desired length.
Dec Row 1 K1, k2tog, k2 – 4 sts rem.
Dec Row 2 K1, k2tog, k1 – 3 sts rem. 
 
Cut yarn leaving a 10" tail.

Bind off directly onto the other side of clasp as follows: thread tail onto beading needle and pull it through the loop of the clasp from back to front. Push clasp close to the st on needle and knit the st. * Making sure the clasp stays close to sts, pull tail through clasp again from back to front and knit the next st. Pass the 1st st on the RH needle over the 2nd st and off the needle to bind off. Rep from * until all sts are bound off.

Weave in tail.

Sew Rose to center of the Necklace with black thread. Weave in ends.


BRACELETWith larger needles and casting on sts directly onto the clasp as for Necklace, cast on 2 sts with A, 3 sts with B, then 2 more sts with A – 7 sts.
Work even in Garter st, slipping the first st of each row and twisting yarns tog at each color change, until Bracelet measures 6¾" or desired length.


Cut yarn leaving a 15" tail.

Bind off all sts directly onto the other side of clasp as for Necklace. Weave in ends.

HOW TO WORK WITH KISS KISS
This is a ladder-type yarn with
decorative boucle pigtails strung along a ladder (or railroad track) of yarn, into which the pick-up east-on and knit stitches are worked.
You will work into every space between
rungs of the ladder (please note that
there may be 2 or 3 strands of yam [joining the side rails of the ladder] between the wider openings- the wider opening counts as the pick-up area).
To cast on, you will "thread" the tip of the needle into successive openings in the ladder, picking up your "east-on" stitches. SCARF
"Cast on" 3 stitches, as instructed above. Turn needle.
Row 1 * Place the tip of the right-hand needle into

the first east-on stitch and then pick up the next
space along ladder of the yarn by wrapping it around the needle as if to knit. Pull the new stitch through

the "east-on" stitch; repeat from * across row- 3

stitches. Turn needle.

Sew Snaps

Note:

 

 

We sewed the snaps in place with straight stitches and a strand of yarn.

Unsnap each snap into 2 pieces. You will sew all 5 of the same piece to one section of the piece, and all 5 of the remaining pieces to a second section of the piece.

The piece is reversible, but for purposes of sewing the snaps in place, designate one side as the right side, the other as the wrong side.

Following diagram for placement, sew 5 matching snap pieces to the right side of the piece. Still following the diagram for placement, sew the remaining 5 snap pieces to the wrong side of the piece.

Sew ends together to form a tube.

Weave in ends.
