Vintage Cotton Throw

This striped cotton throw will take the chill out or be a great companion while you're curled up reading a bestseller!

About 32 x 32 in. (81.5 x 81.5 cm)

MATERIALS
• 480-108 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton: Dusty Blue 1 Ball (A)
• 480-169 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton: Dusty Sage 1 Ball (B)
• 480-098 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton Yarn : Almond 1 Ball (C)
• 480-101 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton Yarn: Strawberry 1 Ball (D)
• 480-106 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton Yarn: Blueberry 1 Ball (E)
• 480-170 Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton Yarn: Pistachio 1 Ball (F)
• Additional Materials
Circular knitting needle size 9 (5.5 mm), 36 in. (91.5 cm)

GAUGE:
15 sts + 20 1/2 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
Seed Stitch (over an even number of sts)
Row 1 (RS): *K1, p1; rep from * across.
Row 2: P the knit sts, and k the purl sts.
Rep Row 2 for Seed st.
NOTES:
Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

THROW
Note: Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.
With A, cast on 120 sts.
Rows 1-6: With A, work in Seed st.
Row 7 (RS): With A, work in Seed st as established over first 5 sts for border, place a marker, k to last 5 sts, place a marker, work in Seed st as established over last 5 sts for border.
Rows 8-11: With A, continue as established, working sts outside of markers (first and last 5 sts) in Seed st and the remaining sts in St st (k on RS, p on WS).
Row 12: With A, work in Seed st over first 5 sts, St st to last 5 sts, work last 5 sts in Seed st. Continue to work as established, keeping sts outside of markers (first and last 5 sts) in Seed st and the remaining sts in St st changing color as follows:
Rows 13-30: With B, rep Row 12.
Rows 31 and 32: With C, rep Row 12.
Rows 33-38: With D, rep Row 12.
Rows 39-50: With E, rep Row 12.
Rows 51-58: With C, rep Row 12.
Rows 59-62: With F, rep Row 12.
Rows 63-74: With D, rep Row 12.
Rows 75-78: With C, rep Row 12.
Rows 79-88: With A, rep Row 12.
Rows 89-94: With B, rep Row 12.
Rows 95-110: With C, rep Row 12.
Rows 111 and 112: With E, rep Row 12.
Rows 113-120: With F, rep Row 12.
Rows 121-126: With D, rep Row 12.
Rows 127-140: With E, rep Row 12.
Rows 141-144: With B, rep Row 12.
Rows 145-148: With A, rep Row 12.
Rows 149 and 150: With D, rep Row 12.
Rows 151-158: With F, rep Row 12.
With F, work in Seed st for 6 rows. Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
