BEeeeutiful Ruffle Scarf

This scarf is so light and airy, it's like wearing a cloud!


shown in: Be Sweet Yarn- Tomato and Pale Green Extra Fine Mohair
Materials :
• 1 x 25g (230 yds/209 meters) of Extra Fine in Color A
• 2 x 25g (230 yds/209 meters) of Extra Fine in Color B
• US 13 (8 mm) needles
• 2 stitch markers
instructions:
Using 2 strands of Color A, loosely CO 21 sts.

Foundation Rows:
1). Knit to last 5 sts, Pm, Yf, now keeping yarn forward, slip the next 5 stitches one at a time to the right needle. [This creates an I-cord edging.]
2). Knit to last 4 sts, Pm, K2tog, Yo, K2. [This creates an eyelet edging.]

Begin Pattern:
1). Knit to last 5 sts, Sm, Yf, Sl 5.
2). Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
3). Knit to last 6 sts, Wrap & Turn, Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
(This also completes Row 4.)
5). Knit to last 8 sts, Wrap & Turn, Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
(This also completes Row 6.)
7). Knit to last 11 sts, Wrap & Turn, Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
(This also completes Row 8.)
9). Knit 7 sts, Wrap & Turn, Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
(This also completes Row 10.)
11). Knit 4 sts, Wrap & Turn, Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, Yo, K2.
(This also completes Row 12.)
13). Knit to last 5 sts, Sm, Yf, Sl 5.
14). Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, yo, K2.
15). Knit to last 5 sts, Sm, Yf, Sl 5.
16). Knit to last 4 sts, Sm, K2tog, yo, K2.
Repeat rows 1-16, nine more times.
Drop 1 strand of Color A and pick up 1 new strand of Color B.
Repeat rows 1-16, six times.
Drop last strand of Color A and pick up a second strand of Color B.
Repeat rows 1-16, twenty times.
Loosely Bind Off all stitches. Weave in ends and enjoy!

ABBREVIATIONS:
K = Knit;
P = Purl;
Sts = Stitches
Pm = Place Marker
Sm = Slip marker to right needle.
Yf = Yarn Forward
Sl = Slip Stitch Purl-wise
K2tog = Knit 2 Stitches Together
Yo = Yarn Over
Wrap & Turn = With yarn in back, slip next stitch purl-wise to right needle; bring yarn
forward to front; slip same stitch back to left needle; turn work around, so other side
faces you. This is called short rows.
** Note: If you wish to hide the wraps, you may do so after all the short rows have
been knitted, (rows 3-12). Knit to just before the wrap and the wrapped stitch. With
the right needle pick up wrap and go through wrapped stitch normally and knit them
together. Though at this gauge with this yarn it is not necessary.
