Oh So Soft Cotton Cowl!

Another cowl, yes, I know summer just started, but now is the time to start making all those winter holiday gifts. And, this is an interesting pattern.

Supplies
Size 10 needles
100% cotton 4 PLY yarn
large sewing needle
button of your choice

SK2P - Slip 1, knit 2 together, pass slip stitch over k2tog
Directions
Cast on 19 stitches
Row 1 - Purl
Row 2 - K1, *yo, k1, SK2P, k1, yo, k1; repeat from * to end Repeat rows 1 and 2 for desired length (neck warmer should measure no longer than one inch longer than neck circumference. last row - Purl bind off, leave a tail to sew button
Sew the button to the end that you binded off.

The eyelets in the pattern create natural button holes, so you don't have to add any. * If using cotton, remember it will stretch out a little.
