Being Bias is a Good Thing...Especially For This Scarf!

Soft and subtle and knitted on the bias, this scarf makes a quiet statement. Follow the Takhi Stacy Charles pattern for the beautiful scarf!

3 balls S. Charles Collezione PANNÉ 72% viscose, 28% wool (1.75oz/50g; 60yds/55m) in color
#10 pearl (A)
2 balls S. Charles Collezione STELLA 74% silk, 26% lurex (0.88oz/25g;76.5yds/70m) in color #12 milky
way (B)
One pair size 5 (3.75mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Yarn needle


KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
6” x 62”/15cm x 157.5cm

GAUGE
16 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10cm in pattern
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS
K2tog Knit 2 together (dec) – Knit 2 sts tog through the front loops.
M1 Make 1 (inc) – Lift strand between needles to left-hand needle and work strand through the back
loop, twisting it to prevent a hole, [knit or purl as indicated by pattern st].
P2tog Purl 2 together – Purl 2 sts tog through the front loops.

SCARF
With B, cast on 32 sts.
Row 1 (RS) With B, sl1, knit to last st, p1.
Row 2 With B, sl1, k2tog, knit to last st, M1, p1.
Row 3 With A, sl1, knit to last st, p1.
Row 4 With A, sl1, * yo, p2tog; rep from * to last st, p1.
Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures 62”.
With B, bind off all sts knitwise. Weave in ends.
