Ready for Spring Scarf!

A great cotton scarf pattern from Tahki Yarns makes it the first scarf you should be knitting for your spring wardrobe!

SIZE One Size

MATERIALS
• 2 balls Tahki Yarns RIPPLE 100% mercerized cotton (1.75oz/50g; 142yds/130m) in color #10 pewter
• One pair size 10 (6mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Yarn needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
7”/18cm wide x 76”/193cm long

GAUGE
19 sts and 18 rows = 4”/10 cm in

Pattern stitch
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

SPECIAL ABBREVIATION
K2tog: Knit 2 together (dec) - Knit 2 sts together through the front loops.

PATTERN STITCHES
Garter Stitch Knit every row.
Pattern Stitch See Row 1 below.

SCARF
Cast on 33 sts.
Work in Garter st for 6 rows.

Row 1: [K1, yo, k2tog] across.
Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 74½” from beginning or second ball is nearly finished.
Work in Garter st for 6 rows.

Bind off. Weave in ends.
