New Berroco Yarns makes this ribbed cuff lacey and fresh!
Approximately 6” around (unstretched) x 5½" long
MATERIALS
1 Hank BERROCO BOREALIS (100 grs), #5068 Vogar (MC)
1 Hank BERROCO RIC RAC (75 grs), #1124 Fontana (CC)
Straight knitting needles, size 10 (6.00 mm)
Sewing needle and matching thread
NOTE
When picking up loops along straight edge of Ric Rac, use every loop, both those at the points of the multicolored zigzags and those in the solid colored triangles between zigzags.
Turn one edge of CC under twice to WS and sew in place with needle and thread. With straight needles, using MC, pick up a loop in each of the first 25 sts along top edge (flat edge) of CC (see note). Cut off CC, leaving about 2”, then turn cut edge to WS and sew in place with needle and thread – 25 sts on needle. From here you will work with just MC.
Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows until piece measures 3” from beg, end on WS.
Bind off in ribbing. Sew side edges together.
