Lace Wrap

A great Lacy Wrap with a ZigZag pattern from Premier Yarns!



Finished Measurements:

16" x 59" (excluding fringe)

Materials

Yarn:

Serene by Premier Yarns – 1 ball desired color

(90% acrylic/10% polyamide; 656 yards/600 meters; 10½
ounces/300 grams)

Knitting Needles:

US 8 (5mm)

Extras:

Yarn needle, crochet hook for attaching fringe

Gauge

16 sts and 23 rows = 4" in Zig-Zag Lace Patt.

Use any size

needles necessary to obtain the specified gauge.

ShawlCast on 66 sts.

Knit 8 rows. Beg Zig-Zag Lace Patt as follows.
Row 1 (WS):
* P3, k2tog, yo; rep from * to last st, p1.

Row 2 and all RS rows:
Knit.

Row 3:
P2, * k2tog, yo, p3; rep from * to last 4 sts, k2tog, yo, p2.

Row 5:
P1, * k2tog, yo, p3; rep from * to end.

Row 7:
P1, * yo, sl 1, k1, psso, p3; rep from * to end.

Row 9:
P2, * yo, sl 1, k1, psso, p3; rep from * to last 4 sts, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, p2.

Row 11:
P3, * yo, sl 1, k1, psso, p3; rep from * to last 3 sts,
yo, sl 1, k1, psso, p1.

Row 12:
Knit.
Rep Rows 1-12 of Zig-Zag Patt until piece measures approximately 57" from beg.
Knit 7 rows. Bind off loosely.
Finishing
Cut 16" lengths of yarn. To attach fringe in each st along both short edges of shawl, fold yarn strand in half to create a loop, use crochet hook to pull loop through st, pull yarn ends through loop and tighten.

Use yarn needle to weave in loose ends.
