Using Ruffles Yarn

I'm using Lion Brand Ruffles yarn for the first time, and as I knit up this one ball scarf, my mind is wandering to it's different uses. This would be a great yarn to trim a long scarf, making ruffles on each end. How about making rows of ruffles between a Noro striped scarf? Trim on a shawl? Or going all out and making an evening shrug?

SIZE: One Size
2 x 32 in. (5 x 81.5 cm)

MATERIALS
• Lion Brand Ruffles: 1 Ball
• Knitting Needles - Size 7 [4.5 mm]
• Large-Eye Blunt Needles

GAUGE
8 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every stitch on every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

SCARF
Cast on 4 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch until about 1 yd (1 m) of yarn remains. Bind off.

FINISHING
Trim ends.

Knitting with Ruffles requires a special, yet simple, technique. The loops are formed by
inserting the needle into this tape-fabric yarn. Please visit www.LionBrand.com to read
