Tricolor Tube Scarf

Using two different yarns from Filatura Di Crosa, you can knit up this most interesting, fun and warm scarf. The matching hat pattern I'll save for tomorrow.

MATERIALS
1 ball Filatura Di Crosa EVVIVA BLACK
44% wool, 36% acrylic, 12% polyester, 8% nylon (1.75oz/50g; 66yds/60m) in color #10 black/tangerine (A)
1 ball EVVIVA BLACK in color #09 black/lime (B)
1 ball EVVIVA BLACK in color #08 black/fuchsia (C)
2 balls Filatura Di Crosa ZARA 100% extrafine merino wool (1.75oz/50g; 137yds/125m) in color #1404 black (D)
One #11 (8mm) circular needle, 16" long

One set #11 (8mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)

Yarn needle, to weave in ends

GAUGE
8 sts and 12 rows = 4"/10cm in Reverse Stockinette stitch with Evviva Black (A, B, or C) TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE
NOTE: Zara (D) is used with 2 strands held together throughout.

PATTERN STITCHES
Stockinette Stitch in the Round (St st)
Knit every round.
Reverse Stockinette Stitch in the Round (Rev St st)
Purl every round.

SPECIAL TERMS
C4F Slip next 2 sts to cn, hold to front, k2, k2 from cn.
C4B Slip next 2 sts to cn, hold to back, k2, k2 from cn.

SCARF
With A, cast on 28 sts and join to work in the round, taking care not to twist sts.
Place marker for beginning of round.
Work in Rev St st until piece measures 18" from beginning. Cut A. Join 2 strands D.
* With dpns and D, work in St st for 4".
Cable Round 1 C4F for 7 times.

Knit one round.
Cable Round 2 C4B for 7 times.
Knit every round for 4". Cut D. *
Join B and work in Rev St st for 18".
Rep from * to *.
Join C and work in Rev St st for 18".
Bind off loosely. Weave in all ends.
