Tea Time Cozy!

You're probably still drinking Iced Tea...but autumn is approaching and a Hot Tea Cozy will keep your hot tea, well...hot!



YARN
Rowan Classic Silk Wool DK 2 x 50gm (photographed in Beauty 317) OR
Rowan Classic Baby Alpaca DK 2 x 50gm (photographed in Spring Leaf 214)

NEEDLES
1 pair 33⁄4mm (no 9) (US 5) needles
RIBBON - 50 cm of velvet ribbon

GAUGE
23 sts and 31 rows to 10 cm measured over moss st using 33⁄4mm (US 5) needles.

FINISHED SIZE
Completed tea cozy measures 39 cm (151⁄2 in) all round.

SIDES (make 2)
Using 33⁄4mm (US 5) needles cast on 45 sts.
Row 1 (RS): K1, *P1, K1, rep from * to end.
Row 2: As row 1.
These 2 rows form moss st.
Work in moss st for a further 54 rows, ending with RS facing for next row.
