Twin Rib Cowl

It's a scarf...no it's a cowl...no it's a hood...wait, it's all three and so easy to knit!

Yarn: Cascade Cash Vero, 2 skeins.
Needles: Circular, US size 7; circular or straight, US size 15.

Gauge: 4 stitches = 1 inch in Stockinette stitch.

Size: One size fits most women.
Finished circumference (unstretched): 17½ inches.
Finished length (unstretched): 14½ inches.

Pattern
Round 1: *K3, p3; rep fr * to end.
Round 2: *K1, p1; rep fr * to end.
Repeat rounds 1 and 2 for 11 inches (or longer, if desired).

Instructions
Cast on 84 stitches on size 7 circular needles, place marker to note beginning of round, and join, keeping stitches untwisted. Work first 6 rounds in border pattern.
Work body in pattern stitch (for 11 inches). Work last 6 rounds in border pattern.
Bind off loosely with size 15 needles. (This bound-off edge is the bottom of the cowl.)

Border Pattern (1x1 Rib)
Round 1: *K1, p1; rep fr * to end. Work a total of 6 rounds in border.
