A New Take on a Color-Blocked Blanket

This color-blocked blanket makes a colorful statement with the new yarn and pattern from Berroco Yarns.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Approximately 44” wide x 60” long

MATERIALS
3 Hanks each BERROCO BOBOLI (100 grs), #5310 Crumpets, #5326 Wading Pool, #5329 Jammie and
#5330 Knoll
Straight knitting needles, size 7 (4.50 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

GAUGE
20 sts = 4”; 28 rows = 4” in St st
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

PATTTERN STITCH (Odd number of sts)
Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 2 sts, end k2.
Row 2: P1, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 2 sts, end p2.
Row 3: K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 4: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across.
Rep these 4 rows for Pat St.

NOTE
Throw is made of four 60” long strips sewn together.

THROW
First Strip: With straight needles, using #5330, cast on 57 sts. Work even in Pat St, using colors shown on
diagram until strip measures 60” long, end on WS. Bind off.
Second Strip: With straight needles, using #5310, cast on 57 sts. Complete same as first strip.
Third Strip: With straight needles, using #5330, cast on 57 sts. Complete same as first strip.
Fourth Strip: With straight needles, using #5326, cast on 57 sts. Complete same as first strip.

FINISHING

Sew strips together in same order as on diagram.
