Stitch Guide
K1-below: Insert right needle tip through center of st 1 row below st on left needle and knit a new st, drop original st from left needle.
Stripe Sequence: Always beg a new color on RS rows. Work in two-row stripes as foll: A, B, C.

Notes
-The center stitch is worked in stockinette throughout. You can mark the center stitch if needed; just make sure the markers don’t interfere with the yarnovers to either side of the center stitch.
-Carry colors loosely, but without slack, up the right edge of piece; do not cut yarns between stripes.
-To ensure the brioche pattern is alternating k1-belows correctly (in brick fashion from row to row), the last stitch before working the first yarnover on every right-side row should always be worked as a k1-below. The first stitch worked after the second yarnover should also always be a k1-below.
