Size 5 mm (U.S. 8) knitting needles or
size needed to obtain gauge.

1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: Knit.
3rd row: K2. *yo. K2tog. Rep from * to last
2 sts. K2.
4th row: Knit.
5th row: Purl.
6th row: K2. *P3. K2. Rep from * toend of row.
7th row: K5. *P2. K3. Rep from * to last 2 sts. K2.
8th to 11th rows: Rep 6th and 7th rows twice more.
12th to 14th rows: Knit.
15th row: As 3rd row.
16th row: Knit.
