Materials:
Size 8 (4.5 mm) 40cm circular needle

Two hanks of Debbie Bliss Aran Merino, Green and Pink

Gauge: 18 sts = 4inches

Instructions:
Headband: CO 76 st- Join in round.
Work 5 rows in Twisted rib - *Ktbl, p1* around.
Work 16 rows in St st- knit around.
Work 5 rows in Twisted rib.
26 rows total.
BO in Sewn-bind off.

Leaf (Make 2):
CO 3 sts. Work one set up row, purl all.
Row 1: K1, M1R, Ktbl, M1L, K1
Row 2 (and all even rows): Purl all.
Row 3: K2, M1R, Ktbl, M1L, K2
Row 5: K3, M1R, Ktbl, M1L, K3
Row 7: K4, M1R, Ktbl, M1L, K4

BO loosely. Sew into a swirl, starting with the dense end first.
Stitch together, overlapping about ½ inch as it is sewn in a swirl. Sew flower and leaves to headband using whip stitch.
